ASSESSMENTS
At Being You Mental Health, we provide comprehensive assessment packages designed for children, adolescents and adults who require assessment to explore an ASD and/or ADHD diagnosis as well as to determine their general thinking and reasoning abilities, also known as intellectual functioning. All packages include a functional assessment (Adaptive Behaviour Assessment System, Third Edition - ABAS-III), feedback session and written report.
Please note that assessments are not covered by NDIS, Medicare or Private Health Funds.

A cognitive assessment explores intelligence, executive functioning, memory and learning capacities. Results can assist in the diagnosis of intellectual or learning impairments, giftedness or other mental disorders.

LEARNING ASSESSMENTS

Woodcock-Johnson IV Achievement and/or Oral Language (Australasian Adaption)

A comprehensive learning assessment is designed to determine an individual’s academic achievement and cognitive development. It explores comprehension-knowledge, fluid reasoning, quantitative knowledge, reading and writing ability, short term memory, long term storage and retrieval, visual processing, auditory processing and processing speed. Results can assist in diagnosis of dyslexia, intellectual and learning impairments and giftedness.
